well i have 56k on my R and my trans took a S*#T yesterday on the way home from work. well anyone have any suggestion ethier a new one or get a built one. keep in mind money is tight.

im the second owner and have had it for 3k miles only that sucks.
this could not of caome at a bad time im moving and $ is short supply. so please any help is well liked.

 

no more warranty?... the acura dealer here told me my tranny is covered for 5 yrs/100,000.. any screw ups, and just bring it back... so he says

That sux, yeah..... the warranty on the drivetrain is only 50k miles!

Maybe my friend at tech43 can get a you one for cheap! This shop is in Gardena!I'll ask him for you or you can Im me for contact info!

 

is the gsr gear box the same as the itr but with different gears
if yes what other gear boxes are the same

 

Where are you located. I can open it up for you. Prolly be fairly cheap if you just fix what broke. Definetly cheaper than a new trans

if you want to get a new one for a good price ask Mike K he works in the parts dept at a Acura dealer here in Florida. He is a ht member.

So what happened that the tranny just quit on ya. Were you beating on it, or do you think the guy before you was beating on it hard? Does it just not go into gear or what?
