Hi, i have always been installing civic oem struts for awile on my eg but i havent changed my springs and i want a lower ride height. Does anyonw know which springs would give me a nice drop (1.8''-2.25'') without buying aftermarket struts? If so can you tell me how the ride is and what it the drop looks like. I heard that tein s tech are good is this true for the set up i want?
OEM struts are not designed for the sports springs out there, and will blow out within 20-30 000 miles of u riding, especialy on such a low drop as 2.25
of i were you i would get struts FIRST then springs if your tight in the moola department, that way you actualy get better handling and no broken parts

S-Techs only lower an EG 1.6 in the front and 1.75 in the rear: generally not enough to completely blow out stock struts. I do agree, though, that performance shocks are definately a worthy upgrade for anyone who is considering doing anything to his suspension. My preference is KYB AGX's.
get some skunk2 coilovers and you can lower it all you want. some people don't have them for one reason or another, buti know some people get lowering springs and after they are installed they wish it was a little lower. you can fix that with coilovers. I know alot of people on h-t have skunks on their car and love them. I have kyb agx's and skunk2 coilovers and had them for almost 2 years..love them
