Default Tein S Tech Lowering Springs

Hey i just ordered Tein S tech lowering springs with a 1.7 rear and 1.9 front drop.. just wondering what you guys thought of these springs and any possible issues.. especially since i will be riding on stock struts and shocks for a few weeks still i get some more money.. and this is purely for dress up not performance.. auto

If you intend on buying aftermarket dampers soon, why wouldn't you just wait until then to install the springs and dampers all at once?

Tearing it all apart twice within a few weeks is kind of pointless.

From what I recall, these springs do not drop as low, some people see that the rear is lower than the front, but they are comfortable.

I've installed plenty of S-Tech's on customer's cars. The ride quiality is great... but the drop can be better. Its a good upgrade from stock for the price.

i had some tein s-techs on a eg coupe and it rode like stock and was very low. wasnt slammed but was planty low enough for my taste. i wouldnt want it any lower i know that. but as far as handling, worst lowering springs ive ever had.. including worse over ebays. but like i said, it rode like stock, just low.

Genuine S.Techs aren't low at all. You probably were sold a set of fakes.

no they wernt fakes. i was actually jsut looking them springs up and your right there not really that much of a drop. maybe i just remember the car wrong. it was a previous civic i had. they wernt fakes tho. it also had 15" rims that may have a played a small roll. but they wernt fakes.

here a pic of it, this is how it sat. seemed decently low.

Ever think that thicker tires eliminate more wheel gap?
