HID break in??

I've heard a lot of people saying about breaking in the HID so they will look more white/blue, but why is that? Does anyone knows?

Also, how long does it need to be breaking in so it will turn into a better look(white/blue)

Color I mean... Some says that after a while, the color of the light will become more white/blue then the first time the HID was installed..

Manufacturer says 50 hours.... some people say 100 hours.... mine took about 30 hrs, but now I've had mine on for well over 200 hours (that's if you figure how much you drive at night on a daily basis, for as many days you've had it)
