I have a d15b w/ bolt ons... i/h/e...which aftermarket IM would be best for my setup? Is the skunk2 any good? Could i match the IM w/ a bigger throttle like an LS's or would i have to bore it out?
Spade knows all about this.
He was in love with one of them, but I can't remember wether it was the Edlebrock or the Skunk2. I want to say it was the Edlebrock.

When I had my SOHC it was to my knowledge that you could only gain about 2~3 whp with an IM.

If i get the Edelbrock IM for my sohc...would i have to port the intake manifold to match the LS's 60mm? How big is the sohc Edelbrock IM anyways?

The PerformerX Was 5whp over the y8 manifold , untuned.
The Skunk2 made the same as the y8 & 2-3whp after extra fuel was added.

You don't really have to worry about matching, you just don't want the TB to be larger than the IM opening.
