Default Does anyone else have problems starting there G2 when its rains?

I have no idea why my 91 RS doesnt like to start if it sits more than 12 hours in the rain. When it dries up and it finally starts it blows out white smoke which sounds like its getting water in the line somewhere. But where?

have you changed your cap and gasket lately? moisture might be getting in if the gasket is old. wouldn't hurt to change it, plus it only cost a few bucks from the dealer.

typical signs of moisture inside the distributor area..
white smoke is that excess gas that gets cleaned out...

just change the cap and seal plus you could buy
a spray that keeps moist out of this area...

So I finally got a look see at it. I took the dist. cap off. Carbon build and just carbon dust everywhere. I looked at the Rotar button and it looks like something was eating it. So I need to replace that too. But it looks like you all were right on the money. Shibby!
