25" slick and B16 tranny... questions
I will be setting my car up for 25" MH slicks and i already have a b16 cable tranny. My question is how high will i have to rev to keep the car in 4th and not have to shift at the end of the track. I was told around 9600 or so by a few people. What are your experiences? Also if i know in advance i will be revving that high i should have the car tuned to go that high correct? By the way the tranny is a Y1 i believe, and the 3rd gear was replaced with a S1 gear because of damage.
thanks

Also when your going through the traps @ 146mph the trap speed is an avg. of the last 66ft of the track so your trap speed would be about 140-141mph. Also like Ron's

I did not know you make them in 14" I would of got this size instead
I have 8.7/25/13 now. I hope I can trap 140's like Art and Ron said.
