Which engine is easier to sc?
B18c1 or b18c5?
I've heard a lot of talk about how the c5 engine is bad to supercharge and its easier to make the same amount of power out of a c1... can someone break it down for me.

It's all about compression for FI setups. Lower compression means you can run more Psi (boost).
Most of us R owners feel the ITR was built primarily for ALL MOTOR. Some FI R's are running quite well, but I prefer to keep my R NA.
Now my hybrid could be a good candidate for FI.

I've always heard that the c1's are more suited to forced induction applications due to their lower compression ratio. Lower compression reduces the likelyhood of predetonation (knocking) that them turbo and SC guys are always battling.
a c1 is a lot easier to SC. Tons of GSR owners are getting really good times and numbers with them. As for C5's, well its up to the owner to do it right. With the C5's its a lot of work in tuning and getting the right parts to make the engine put of good times. As for a C5 don't handeling bost good, well it depends on how the engine is running and tuned.
