Ok...what I read would probobly be a fuse...is probobly not!!! I've been having the problem where my dash lights won't come on all the time unless I wiggle the headlight ****. Well tonight as I was driving...there was a distict smell of burning plastic and electrical fire...followed by my dash lights dimming and the clock switching between bright and dim.
What do I need to fix this and where can I get it? I'm assuming I need the entire turn signal rod of the column. Is there any way to open the switch so I can see whats goin on inside the ****?
I can't go without a car...and I do a big amount of driving at night due to the fact I take night classes...so I need to resolve this tomorrow.

I had the same problem with my car. You need to replace the whole combo switch, but it's one unit, so it's not too bad. Go to http://www.slhondaparts.com/browse.asp, http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/ or your local dealer to get the switch. I did it two years ago, so I don't remember how much it was, but I did drive around with the bad switch for a couple of months before it bothered me enough to change it.
Wierd,.. Same thing is happening in my 94 Coupe EX. I turn on the headlights and the interior lights dont come on, so I turn the dimmer low and then up and they come on. Should I be expecting the same problem you guys are talking about?

My 95 EX does the exact same thing. I assumed it was probably the dimmer switch going bad, but it's the stalk eh? Guess I'll pick one up.

Well, mine was the stalk, and it sounds like his is too because I could wiggle the headlight switch and they would come on. Before I replaced it, it got so bad the same thing was happening with the headlights as well. Wiggle your headlight switch to see if it works for you. If not, it may be the dimmer.
