clogged catalytic converter ??
would i feel a noticeable drop in power if my catalytic converter is clogged up? i've changed cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter, and cleaned the build up around the injectors. my mpg has gotten better but theres still a big lag in power. mostly midrange. would it help if i used seafoam on the car to get rid of some of the carbon build up and bought a new cat? does seafoam foul out the o2 sensor? sorry about all the questions. thanks.
how many miles are on ur ride? year? Why do you think its the cat? Worst comes to worst you could take off the cat and look throu the honeycomb. I doubt thats ur prob thou. Isnt there some trick where you can tap on it and listen for a certain sound....
Imagine a clogged cat like trying to exhale with a dinner roll in your mouth. Now go run a marathon like that. Get my point?
Catco high-flow cats are like $90 and street legal. Buy one.

well its my gf's car. its a 94 ls auto and has about 120k miles on it. it feels alot slower then others i've driven. even she thinks so. the car feels like its either not getting enough air velocity or somethings clogging it. at alike 30-60 percent throttle it feels choked i guess.
