Hey sorry for maybe being abit annoying but i just wanted to know what you guys think of the ones that are selling on ebay for like 40$ are they the same as the does expensive ones. I would just like some clarifications on it that is all bc I plan on doing a nice suspension setup to my car with Toxico Illuminas and Eibach Sportlines so i was wondering if it would benefit from it.
Thanks David

imo there is no real difference except for the nice ones that also mount to your firewall or the sweet neuspeed strut bar that has 4 mounting points and no flexing joints. Also imo i would pick different springs than the eibach sportlines if you want to really handle well. Maybe some h&r race springs or h&r sports if you don't want to buy coilovers. I run the h&r sport springs with kyb agx's right now and its a pretty decent setup.
personally i think all strut bars are the same. when you pay $200+ for the spoon or mugen strut bar you're just paying for a name brand. i like the strut bars that don't have pivot points in them. ebay ones are just fine.
Just get something that attaches at the suspension pivot points(like nuespeed). Anything that has a hinge isn't gonna do a whole lot for you.
I'm a big fan of the cheapass H-bar lower strut bar. This will stiffen your ride more then anything.

As long as I dont have to take out any more Metal Gears

I think those ebay ones are crap. They have those adjuster screws one the ends that flex along with the frame, so basically those bars are useless, just for show. DC bars suck *** too, all show, bling bling crap. True u dont have to spend like 200-300 for like a mugen or spoon, but those arent the only companies that manufacture good strut bars. Greddy, Nuespeed, and Cusco are the best bang for the buck. Their bars dont have blantant flex points. I'm running cusco bars, they are great, definately felt a difference in the corners than from those cheap ones. If ur frame is bent, then the cusco bar wont fit, no adjuster so u know its solid.

I noticed a difference with the upper front strut bar initially. Once I had upgraded the rest of my suspension it doesn't make a difference whatsoever if its on or off.
Ive tried everything from bars around 20 to 200. Ive even tried various diy three point bars...they are all the same.

OBX Front & Rear Upper Strut Bars = $50
Neuspeed Front & Rear Upper Strut Bars = $300
Difference in performance = NONE
Neuspeeds 4 point front upper strut bar is the only quality product from Neuspeed, IMHO, and is the only strut bar I'd spend the money on.....around $70-$80.
My Accord is getting a front upper Neuspeed bar, front lower 'H' bar, and ST sways. The rear lower bars don't do much and rear upper bars do even less.
If I was on a budget, I'd get the package deal of 4 bars on eBay.....only around $40-$50.
