Well, a couple weeks ago we got rearended at a stoplight in her 94 vx.

Insurance totalled it out, and I've been letting my g/f drive my itr to work (since it is quiet-er than my open header hatch). I've been driving the open header hatch - and will post another thread of observations if it is deemed necessary. I'm almost used to it!

Anyway, here's what she's told me so far:

Stunna's work thier way up to her in stop and go traffic to race the 8ft to the next car in front of them. She mostly just looks puzzlingly at them and their stupidity.

So far, it's been a minivan, the local stunnachick in her fully kitted eg, and some gold EF.

The porsche and bimmer crowd also revs. LOL

She works with a lot of millionaire's, and is getting the raised eyebrows from them in their modena's, etc.....

She is becoming increasingly aware of the responsibility of owning and driving a car like the itr; frowned upon by the yuppie bimmer/ porsche crowd, and looked at as the ultimate takedown by the ricer/ stunna crowd. She can't just park anywhere and must always set the alarm. And avoid potholes and speedbumps like the plague!

I'm sure I'll hear some more tomorrow. It's only been a week now.....

I would trust a girl with my car and I don't even own an R. I'm guessing she can actually drive a car properly?

I needed to return a company truck, so the girlie drove my ITR and I followed in the truck. It was hilarious to see it from that perspective. All the Civics and WRXs get excited when they see the R coming, and then they go nuts when they see a girl driving it...

 

I let my girl drive my caR anytime she wants....its fun to see how much attention she gets, especially cause she pretty. What i like to do is follow her in my beater and watch doods try and mack on er. Cause i mean come-on....any hot chick in a hott caR is awesome. In fact even if shez not that good looking....if she is driving a hott car you and your friends are all like whoa...did you see that chick driving that M3, R, S2k...etc. And you all know what i am talking about, so dont pretend like you dont .

 

Hehe, Amy must loving it in the hype-R! Maybe you should see if she can trade the R for a Porsche GT2 from one of the guys she works for.

Just kidding, I let her drive it the other night, but she's still learning stick so it was just a slow joy ride

 

Whenever I let my girlfriend drive the ITR, I can't get her to give me the keys back. She loves it

 

i taught my ex to drive so i trust her completely. she's kind of scared of vtec though. now she can't drive it well because she's about 5'2" and the sparco's sit a little low.

 

i Let my G/f drive my 97 ITR to work sometimes But she both knows how do drive and not to park it anywhere near any othere cars and to always lock it up..
other then that i cant say shes not a SAfe driver because she has raced other people with my car when i have been following behind her.
its funny how many guys pull up to her and she gets so many guys trying to get a # or to race it's funny.
i would let here drive the 96 jdm Rhd R but she needs more training time on it before i let here loose with it.

My wife says she likes driving the R but it's way too loud

 

nobody drives the R except me. sometimes my room mate if I get arrested

not just because its the almighty RRRrrrrr, but because Ive had a car totalled by letting someone else drive it, and I dont trust anyone elses driving except my ownz.

uhm heh i dont think i could of said this better if i had tried. for being the bravest EVAR.

 

My girl drives mine on Tuesday and Thursday. She loves keeping it in VTEC. She's had more people rev her at stoplights that I ever have. LOL

Anywho my GF was allowed to drive the R until she mistook 1st for 3rd
Luckily it was only at like 20 mph. I screamed no! nO! NO! ClutcH IN!


She almost got a back hand for that one and I almost had a stroke
