oil in throttle body...help.

Default oil in throttle body...help.

ok i was taking off my air intake and i noticed some oil in the end rubber piece of the intake next to the throttle body there was a little bit of oil in the tb but i dont think it went behind the tb "plate" and i also looked in the intake and it was clean??? any ideas? also what could or would happen if i sucked through some oil???

Maybe you over oiled your K&N Fliter? Or it could be from the breather hose that connects to the valve cover

weird ,what kinda filter?and the worst i would think is ur car would burn white smoke til it was all burnt out,u may want to clean it good and then re-check it to c if the oil is still in the tb.

well first off guys thanks for the help. but i think that the oil is from the breather hose because i looked in the intake (pipe and filter) and no oil its only near the breather so can anyone tell me why it would leak out oil and have i been damaging the motor in that condition??

only two things I can think of are blow by or your pcv valve is no good.

You might need an oil catch can. Did you drive your car pretty hard recently?
