hey guys i need a some advice. i got a 98 civic hatch and im planning to do the 99-00 front end convertion. Someone told me they could get me the whole si front end for $800 bucks. front bumper, fenders, si lip, hood, core support, and head lights. Im just wondering if its a good price and if the core support is nesscesary ( i've search about the core support but keep getting mixed answers) by the way its all brand new, primered ready to paint. thanks in advance!

i would say its a good deal. have you tried finding these parts seperate and pricing it yourself.

 

i personally dont think its worth it. I prefer the 96-98 front end

Edit: Paint will be anywhere between $250 and $500.</TD></TR></TABLE> i think a bit more.. he needs the hood fenders and front bumper and headlights... that will proly cost alomost a grand in itself.. im not sure if anything else needs to be changed.. then for a GOOD paint job your looking about AT LEAST 500 dollars .. it has to be blended and at least a 2 stage paint.. do it right dont get a half *** makko job.. unless you want to be painitng it every 1- 2 years

$40 for fenders from certafit.
$50 Si Grill
$100 used bumper w/ lip
$200 used CF hood

Just dont get a certafit bumper they fit like anus.

Yeah. Sounds about right. I'm thinking $500 for parts, and another $500 for paint. Like I said before, &lt;&gt;$1000.

 

do i need the core support too? i found stuff on 1autobodyparts.com for pretty cheap im just wondering if anyone had any expirence with them.. thanks

 

You do not need the core support. The core support for the 96-98 will work with the 99-00 Front end conversion.

please dont buy certifit anything
find someone selling the same color front end, even if it takes a while
i got an OEM honda front end for 450 since the fenders had huge blue side markers in it
and oh yea the certifit fenders they are ok, but you will be able to see the difference in the gap between door-fender and the door-rear quarter

seems like a little too much to me.

I got my fenders shipped for $75. Bumper w/SI lip picked up for $80. CTR style headlights for $100. And a cf hood picked up for $150.

75 + 80 + 100 + 150 = $405 (already painted and installed myself)

Not true, with my friends fenders they were perfect with out any gaps or anything.

 

is shipping expensive? im from southern cali malibu area
