blown oil pan gasket?
im thinking my oil pan gasket is blown since i have an oil leak. i checked from the engine bay and under the car and it seems to be comming from the oil pan area from the front. i checked the drain bolt if its loose and it pretty tight. what could have cause the gasket to go bad?
i have pictures but i have to get to class, ill post the picture when i get back.

Gaskets don't last forever. And, if it was incorrectly installed, that will decrease the life of it as well. If it is your oil pan gasket, clean the entire area off that has oil on it, check your dip stick, then let the car run for awhile. Maybe even jack it up in the air so you can watch and see if that's where to oil is coming from.
It's a good possibility, but before you change it you would want to know for sure.
