If you build the LS/VTEC correctly it will be reliable.
I've had the bottom end built, and the engine properly tuned.
I've been running this setup with almost 2 years of hard driving and haven't had any problems...
Until I decided to install ITR IM and ITR Cams. Now I need a new dyno tune, but once I get it done, should be back to it's old reliable self.
