Swaping obd1 B16 into OBD2 car please help

Swaping obd1 B16 into OBD2 car please help
Okay, just correct me if i'm wrong....
obd1 cars have the crank sensor in the dizzy
obd2 cars have the crank sensor on the crank with the pick-up
*the car is keeping the obd2 harness and dizzy and will be running and obd2 P30*
now in order to get this to work i will need to chand the oil pump to an obd2 pump and get that ring that goes between the timing belt and crank pulley, if so what cars can i get that ring off of?
What would happen if i ran it w/o the crank sensor?
