Default where can i find a throttle body to match my edlebrock intake manifold?

i am running a stock gsr throttle body and am looking to upgrade. i am looking for one that has a TPS already on it because i dont like taking the oem one off and having to recalibrate it.

what is a good size to upgrade to? how much to they usually cost ?

i was told by a reputable tuner, that the upgrade isn't necessary and you'll be fine w/ the stock TB.. you could probably be better off using the extra money on other parts... unless you can get a killer deal, then go right a head..

i agree wiuth your tuner. also with the bored throttle bodies do they put bigger butterflies in? cuz if not and they are overbored its gonna let air in when closed. just something to think about.

Actually, I think Kauffman's TB's are stock bore, he just does something with the porting to make them flow better than the STR TB's. I've seen with my own eyes a stock TB and an STR on his flow bench and the stock one outflowing the STR...

I was told by the guy that does the boring that the max tb bore on a stock b16/b18c1 throttle body was 63mm if the car will be boosted, 64 if the car is n/a. The throttle body opening on the edelbrock mani is 65mm, so if you want a matched throttle body, I would go with the edelbrock 65mm.
