Default what do you turbo guys do for traction?

just looking for opinions honestly. thinking about boosting my gsr hatch in the future but don't know what to look for. i want to make big power but want to at least have my tires grab. are gear-based boost controllers worth it and such....who makes them?

Make sure alignment is properly done, especially the camber.

Feather throttle in 1st, ease off boost in 2nd.

My plans are to get a Boost controller, dial it in by gear, run 5-7psi in 1st, 7-9psi in 2nd, 11-13psi in 3rd and on.

I was just about to say that. If I lay into the throttle on my car it'll burn the tires off. If you ease into it it's totally driveable.

traction in a GSR, haha there is none. I'm running 5psi with a smaller 14B turbo and i can't stick to the ground at all. I have to feather it in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Shift earlier in the rpms and feathering the throttle doesn't do much but it helps. how about 26 inch chrome rims with drag slicks!

I have a Quaife LSD and Nitto 555r drag radials for traction. I am planning on getting traction bars pretty soon.

from my experience.. the most effective for traction - drag radials!
i'd like to obtain gear based boost controller.. my car wont' even move if i punch it in first gear at higher boost..

Scramble boost on the AVC-R is always a nice option. You can also program boost dependant on the gears.

Other then that, basically everything mentioned before is a must.

LSD
Traction Bars
Slicks
alignment/camber

Stiffer rear springs also is a nice thing to have.
