Default Turbo for a d16y8

Okay i am currently building an NA motor for my 99 honda civic ex, I have an ex motor with currently 106,000 miles, with a bad knocking noise. when my NA motor is built, it will be going into the coupe. I am planning on buying a 92-95 hatch, and i will be throwing the d16y8 into the hatch. i will be rebuilding the y8 with eagle rods and je pistons, with all new bearings, real cheap rebuild, a motor to handle about 10psi. I was looking at the different turbo kits that come complete, like the drag, rev hard, edelbrock, etc. I was wondering what kit i could run safely on the street pushing about 10 psi with forged pistons and rods in a y8 motor. it will be tuned, probably an apexi avrc and vafc with rc 310cc with a walbro fuel pump, if not included with kit. remember, i know mostly about na. thanks for your input.

Forged rods and pistons are kinda overkill for 10psi...

I wouldn't get the AVCR...spend that money on something like hondata, or get uberdata, do some tuning, and with the forged internals run 15+psi.

Yeah dude if your going to go through all the trouble of rebuilding you might as well go uberdata + 3 bar and boost the ****** to 15+ like was stated before. A stock block will handle 10+psi... and I don't reccomend the afc hack as fuel management if your starting from scratch b/c it can be rather expensive and there are better options out there for less (ubderdata).

Get 450cc injectors, at minimum, as well.

I am not trying to push this car to the max, I was running the forged internals, just to be safe, I have always worked on NA motors and i want my daily driver to be turbocharged, just to get a feel, who knows i might like it better. but i am not looking to drop alot of money into this car, i have an extra vafc and injectors, can get a avrc for pretty cheap. the motor was going to be built for a 2nd back up motor, just dropping the money on the kit, and the rods and pistons.
