I just got back from Sac town raceway.
Here's my specs:
around 2770lbs (give or take 30lbs)
240whp and 168trq (could be slightly higher, from the new exhaust, but I'll find out shortly)
stock R rims with MT slicks that are extreamly used (at leasty 200+ runs on them already from the owners car). The slicks were so old and hard that I couldn't even get them to pull me out of the pit with the e-brake on during the burn out, like the slicks did on my last visit to the track. I only got two good runs in off the slicks.
I hit a 12.9 on the first run and a 12.9 again on the second run with a top speed of 106 and 105mph. The 60ft was 1.8 on both runs. The two runs after that I started to get major traction issues. Everytime I would launch I would just ping the rev limiter in 1st do to wheel spin. Same thing also happend in 2nd gear. This caused the times to fall to 13.0 with a 106mph on both runs. The 60ft jumped to a high 1.9 and 1.9sec.
Anyway the car ran great! I'm sure if I put on some newer slicks I would see mid 12's. Still though, not bad for a heavy weight like my car. For reference my last time I dragged which was about 2 months ago, which was also my first time, I hit a 13.8 @ 99mph with the same weight and with 210whp and 145trq. However that time I had stronger slicks which grabbed really good.
Anyway, I finally got to the 12sec club with only 2 trips to the track and a total of 8runs combined!!!
I'll post the exact timeslip info tomorow when I wake up.

Congrats on your time!!!
I wish I had 240 at the wheels.
. I think you will definately hit mid twelves with better tires. By the way is it true that sacramento race way gives free runs on wednesdays? Heard it from a friend but never went.

Free runs on Wed? No way! Wed is a competition night with time trials. Friday is a test and tune, and sat is a grudge match.
Probably as soon as he gets slicks and does some drastic Eddie-style weight reduction!!! If his car weighed 2,200 lbs., I'm sure it could hit 11's...

yeah once I put a nice set of new slicks on my car (which should be ready for the next year season) I'm hoping for mid 12's to a 12.7sec. And my weight still is slightly under to the 2800lb mark. I already know I can drop a good 100lbs off the car easly with minor stuff I have inside (harness bar, some stereo stuff, etc...). Not to mention I'm hoping to have lighter seats by next season which should help also. I wanna stay away from stripping the car down, because I normally don't drive the car like that. With no traction in 1st or 2nd gear on my 3-4th run I hit 13.0 which should mean I could hit that on street tires (A032R's).
As for 11sec times, well we'll see. I will have to get a lot more power and some more trq. Maybe in the 275-300whp range with 200trq. Thats could be possible with the next set of mods that I have instored with this setup. We'll have to wait awhile till sometime next season for it!
Here's a bad copy of one of my time slips. I'll try to get a better scanned copy later:

hey Austin, yeah there was hella people that I wanted to call but we left at the very last minute. With the fear of rain and track closure we left really late and preyed that they would keep the track open for at least 1 run if it started to rain.
But yeah that night turned out ok. The track conditions were semi-ok yet it was really slow with cars breaking down and this girl crashed on the track! So I was only able to get 4runs in. Most people got 3-5runs pending if their lane was skipped or not. If we go again this season, I'll let you know! Also be expected a call from me today! I was gonna call last night but I wasn't sure if you be sleeping cuz it was kinda late.

300 to the wheels should get ya to touch the 11's. maybe you can add a 30-40 shot of NOS. with 13x8 bogarts and M&H's you should get there no problem. Maybe lose some weight in the car. I don't know how your car weights so much, mine weighs around 2550 minus the spare.

The reason my car weight's so much is because of my stereo. Even with most of it removed for daily driving, etc... I still have:
amp rack
4channel amp
4 crossovers and enclosure for them
15farad capisitor for amp system and enclosure
plus tons of 0g wires!
That remaining stuff that I left in the car weights around 50lbs at least
Then add my harness bar which is 20lbs with the harnesses and you have an extra 70lbs added to the weight. If I removed all that I would weight around 2700lbs. Then minus the driver and it will weight around 2660lbs. Don't forget I have the added A/C in the car which would make the weight the same as the 2000 R's which is 2639lbs vs. the 98spec non-A/C 2595. So that bring the weight to like 29lbs over totally stock with A/C. I would figure minor stuff would account for that 29lbs. Anyway yeah, with the weight reduction that I've done already on the car (IE-JDM front, stoptech rotors, spoon calipers, lighter exhaust, lighter header, etc...) I would have come closer, but oh well. By next season I hope to have lost around an extra 50lbs from my current setup by removing other stuff and adding lighter stuff. And no thats still all normal body stuff with bo carbon fiber yet. CF is way too much $$$$ for the weight loss it gives.
YEAH THAT WAS MY 1000th post!!!!!!! Thanks for telling me hybrid-ctr!
Glad it was used on something usefull rather then just a BS post!
