lol
I would start by retrofitting a VTEC red valve cover on, and since you have a LS head anyway, get some VTEC Killer Cams...
On a more serious note, Boost it, or replace it...

YES! You can absolutely turn your car into a type R.
All you need to do is to buy 2 indiglo red H or A emblems, 3 type R stickers (2 side, 1 rear), and a red valve cover. You'll be nearly 99% there!
Good luck bro
Edit: oh and anyone, please "correct me if im wrong" ...but I know im not.

I think you picked the wrong forums for a question of this type. Maybe try learning how an engine works and whats the difference between models first

No there isn't.
The cheapest way to have a B18C5 (USDM Integra Type-R) engine would be to.... buy a B18C5 engine.
If you had a GS-R (B18C1 engine) then it would be possible because they are much more similar. Even then pretty much the only thing you could keep would be the block. Pistons, valvetrain, intake and exhaust system, cylinder head. All are different.

Ill be the nice guy here and try and explain a couple of things to you. Appearance wise....you could def have a car thats very similar and almost looks exactly like an R. BUT A Type R was significantly changed from all other models as far as interior, body parts, and over-all design. For instance....if you notice that the R is the only integra with no side moldings, or a five-lug suspension set-up, or stock oem lips and side skirts, a race-ready motor, stock racing seats, wing, wheels, guage cluster, all the weight reductions, etc....
I hope this helps you understand a little bit more of why its not feasible.
Also.......even if you were to change everything possible your vin would still be registered as a LS, and by the time you were done doing all of this you could have probably found one or maybe two
..for the price you paid to do the transformation.

He's not asking how to change the whole car in to a Type R, just the motor. Damn the ITR board is full of ********. You COULD use your block and build up the motor, but the cheapest/easiest way would be to buy a used B18C5 longblock, find a B17A tranny, put in LSD and possible JDM/ATS FD, and chipped ECU. Hope that this helps.
You could always just buy my setup.....and have something faster

no one mentioned the fact that his motor is obd0. so you'd need the conversion harness too. but yeah, you can't make an B18A a B18C5. your biggest problem is that the stroke is different.

Or if you like I can call my cousin Juan from So. Cal and have him steal you a type R (no problem) and you cough up like 2k and you got a deal. PM' me YO! I'm so serious with mine.
I'll make an LS turn into a Type R really easy, just need a screwdriver, locksmith tool, and some gas money. Unless you just want a head, and tranny - I got those sitting pretty up in my chopshop garage, all day.
Anyone say something and i'm going out tonight and taking another one. HA!
