it will bolt on both blocks but in my opinon the b16 is a waste if you can get a b18c. more displacment = more hp/tq

a b18c and b16 head is a poor mans hype r

the itr head is a mild port and ploished b16 head with diffrent valves and springs

unlike the million other people who go to different posts and say "search" even though some one has already stated so...i will reply with "hopefully" some helpful feedback.

This is what I would do: get a b18c block, drop either p30/itr or ctr standard bore pistons, then get a b16a head, itr valve train and cams, port and polish if you have the time/money, and yeah. this would be considered the poorman's itr build, but i've seen some nice dyno plots with this set up! More than what a gsr w/ itr cams, i/h/e, etc. can do! As for the tranny, depends what your going to be using the motor for? Also, do you want to stay n/a or go FI?

hope that kind of helps....

the topic starter started the bandwith problem and then at least five people have to say "search." i think one search suggestion with this as a reference: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=749544 should be made and then a lock.

Ok Im amending the forum rules for this ****...

Stop getting in immature battles over telling people to search. Every once in a while, sure, but every post has people saying "SEARCH!" If everyone searched there would be no posts...if you dont want to answer, dont answer!

i would slap on the itr head b18c block it would put out more power..you could tell the difference..but if you do slap on the itr head b16 you are going to have too put a lot of time and money in it to make it go as fast
