Is there a decent way to launch a puck clutch on street tires??? (should I just buy a disc?)
This may be a dumb question but Im looking for an answer.
I have a turbo D16 w/a spec stage 3 6 puck. I didn't install the thing yet, but I drove my friends car with one in it. It's a bitch to drive. It engages right away and grips HARD (no feathering).
What i'm wondering is...is there any good method of launching on street tires when using this clutch? I've heard of "loading the clutch" but not sure what that means. (It's a sprung 6puck carbon disc BTW. ) Also, the 1-2 shift is gonna leave them spinning as well. What have you guys done to get passed this? Ill be at the track next week, and im wondering if I should just sell this and get a stage 2 disc. Any input is welcome
Thanks!
Dan
