Default Why is my engine choking?

I've got a stock B20 put in my car and when I start off in first or shift at lower rpm's into second or third my engines been seizing or choking , when I hit the gas I get no response, or short little bursts. It looks like i don't know how to drive standard when i start because it justs chugs along. Any ideas of what this could be, thanks

vtec or non? i had a little problem with fuel running rich, around 2000-3500 it would bog down sometimes, so i would have to punch it to engage vtec and it would run fine, finally got it an fmu, now she runs great. I dont know, that might help...
