Default car won't crank over...help!!!!!

my setup, i have a 00 dx hb......with a 94 b18b with a ys1 tranny and a hcp hydro to cable kit on it, new flywheel and clutch....well this passed saturday i finished putting in the motor, and got a alot of the wiring done....well i go to start it up and i find out that the starter no good...so i did a search to see if a d series starter would work and it doesn't....but i was able to swap out the starter motor....but now the starter makes a grinding noise.....i have a starter already order....but after looking at a coulpe of things on the car. i find that it's hard as **** to crank the motor over with a ratchet, i was able to crank it before, i install the tranny to the motor..... i'm thinking it's something to do with the tranny...any input would be nice thanks...

its supposed to be hard to crank it by hand with everything installed.

the engine is compressing air and you are also turning a transmission.

as long as it goes all the way around you will be fine.

well today i jacked up the car and took the casing on the bottom of the tranny off ...so now the flywheel is in view but it looks like a bolt is stuck between the fly wheel and the tranny casing at the top ...so now i have to drop the tranny to see what this bolt is from...
