good idea but, first he needs to take it off. use a dremel and a cutting wheel and cut a groove that is long and deep enough to be removed with a large flathead screwdriver.
if i'm correct, all 88+ hondas (no matter what model) use the same TPS

Are you sure about that? From what i understand ALL TPS off of any 4 cylinder honda motor are interchangeable.
