Painted my stock wheels
I'm sure this has been covered a million times but yeah... Decided to paint my stock wheels. I used Rustoleum High Temp Engine Paint (they didn't have any specific wheel paint) 3 coats with 4 coats of Wallmart Automotive Clear Coat. I'm satisfied considering before the car was way uglier

(Please don't mention the fact that the wheels are on wrong, or that I am only running 3/4 lug nuts. I don't care and there is a reason)

(Overhead Shot)

(My finger is sort of in the way on this one lol)

(The kicker).
Apparently people are saying while I'm driving they look pretty okay. I painted the center caps red with lame-0 type R wannabe Red Honda Emblems. (Don't bother making fun because I think I've done enough on my own) to hide the fact that I have missing wheel studs at the track...

I feel like a douche for not exactly knowing how... I have read about 15 different things poeple have told me (most of them conflicting with eachother) and I'm sure they all work, I just don't understand what they mean when they say to put a washer or a nut on to secure them or whatever... check my post https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=798053 maybe you can make sense of it.

I always said those rims look like accord 86-89 rims. But about the wheel studs I think people are referring to when you put the new studs in, They are not completely in yet, you put a washer on first then a lug nut or open end lug nut and use a air gun to press the stud through. That is what I do and that is how I was taught to do it, with air tools.
i believe there integra rims of the same generation, and looks good imo, gotta love gunmetal with alum lip
car looks sweeeet. for the lug nuts, i just got the dust shield out of the way, then had to shave off the better part of the lug head so it would clear the brake. then just hammer it in.
and another "
" for the car

Yes those are integra rims and I hope you have them on correctly cause if you look at the rims and didnt already know you'd see they are directional wheels.
The outcome of hte paint job looks good however.

Thx d00ds! Yeah I'm really liking it. I'm thinking about doing it for a few friends too. It's a long project (waiting for coats to dry and such) took me aboug four hours with my time spaced out right. But there were times where I had all four wheels waiting to dry which makes me wish I had more to do. I think if I get about 8 wheels to do at once it would be worth while charging, I will start charging $30 a set. (Each set costs about $10 in masking tape, paint, and clear coat).
So yeah if you live in Western Washington shout me a holler! (Not that it's all that hard but a lot of time and masking good is a pain.)

Looking good. It looks pretty much like my CRX in the 1st picture. I had planed also to paint my wheels the same color you painted yours. Thanks for letting me know how they would look
