B20 turbo. runs lean, please help!!
Blew B16A in my 2000 SI, swapped longblock to a B20 and transfered the Complete GReddy kit including GReddy fmu. I am using a step down to an OBD1 P75 (ls) ecu. Could not figure out why car idles high at idle(2000 RPM). checked for vacuum leak around the manifold using parts clean (idle did not change). Hooked up my A/F ratio Gauge (that I had for over a year) and found out its running lean the whole time. when the turbo spools at 3000RPM it feels weak and at 5000rpm the car is totally lean and starts to shake hard. Whats that all about? any suggestions or info on why its lean, and or why the idle is so high would be greatly apreciated.
Sounds like it may have a vacuum leak, even though you sprayed it, may be on the bottom side of the manifold. Try and redo the intake manifold and see if that makes a difference. let me know.
