Rough idle b20/vtec turbo????
Here is my setup.
99 civic SI. b20b with obd1 p30 vtec head. stock internals with headstuds. 12:1 vortech fmu. RC engineering 440cc Injectors. VAFC2 obd1 skunk2 chipped p30. full-race turbo manifold and t3/t4 60-trim turbo. I have the idle fuel pressure at 48psi and 40% taken out for the Map hack. The engine Idles up and down very speratically. I have replaced and checked for all vacuum leaks. I have no gasket leaks. I replaced the IACV. The problem i am having is that it just keeps dying. When i put it on our dyno, I am getting a good air/fuel at idle but it still wants to die. I have adjusted the idle set screw countless times and also tightened the throttle cable to keep it running. But it is really intermittent on when it trys to die. If anybody has any ideas please let me know.
And if any body is curious, It put down 270hp at 5lbs of boost.

I have no idea and would like to know too. Mines is a stock b20 and the idle dies when the motor starts up, so i have to rev it a lil to hold it down. bump so we both can figure wtf is going on.

Maybe you cracked a sleeve? Try a compression test and see whats up. Look at your plugs, is there oil/coolant on them? Hope you guys figure it out.

I have done a compression test yesterday(175 accross the board) I know it is running rich, I have had it on the dyno quite a few times in the past week. The plugs are black after about 500 miles so i change them frequently. I also tuned it pretty precisely until my hondata gets here. I think i just need to get rid of all of the other monkey business aka, 440cc injectors, vafc, vortech 12:1, and skunk2 ecu and just do everything from a single source.
