Code 16 Keeps Coming Back!
Hey guys,
I have a 1990 CRX DX with a B18A. I used to get a code 16 whenever my passanger would put a lot of pressure on the wires going to the ecu plug. To fix it I would re-solder the 2 wires for DPFI-MPFI conversion and reset the ECU for 15 minutes and it would be fixed. Now I am OBD1 and running 450cc injectors. I took off the metal cover plate to show a friend the conversion harness(thanks blown90hatch) and as soon as it touches one of those wires, bam i get the code 16. well i re-soldered it and i still got the code. So i then replace the ecu pins and i am still getting the code. I checked the wires going to the injectors and they seem fine. I have also tried another resistor box and that didnt help either. These 450's worked fine for a couple days, so i dont think it is them, but how can i make sure? What else should I do? Please help me, I need to fix my car so I can get it tuned.
