Default h22 tranny vs f22 tranny

Ok im getting a h22 in a month, i can get a motor from hmotorsonline.com for 1200 complete motor, but i cant decide if im gonna use a h22 tranny or my f22 outta my 91 lx, 5speed, how much slower will the car be in the 1/4 mile?? also i can use my accord axles if u go with using the f22 tranny right, also i can use the stock mounts correct, so the onlything eles i would need would be the p13 ecu, and the wire the vtec and swap motor correct??

should i buy the h22 and the end of this month and use my f22 tranny, or should i wait 2 months and get the h22 tranny with the motor??

so confused plese help....

do it right get the h22 tranny. your f series tranny isn't going to last long anyways given it's mileage and the higher output of the H22.

totally true...the accord tranny is made to deal with just as much hp as the f makes....and chances are your 91 would love the feel of a more or less brand new tranny...good call with hmotors too...you will be satisfied

this is not true whatsoever...the f22 and h22 trannies are almost identical internally and even share some of the same gears...the difference mainly is the final drive gear...
