Alright here is my question: My domelight no longer works. I checked the fuse and bulb,no problems with either. I did notice before that it worked when the driver's side door was open but would turn off if the passenger side door was open at the same time. Is it a problem with the switch on the passenger side door? Let me know what you guys think is wrong and what I can do to remedy this, I'm tired of using a flashlight at night to pick out new music when driving at night.

 

check each of the door switches for water damage.. i think its shorted to ground so it thinks the door is still closed.

this happens when the plastic cover on the switch has been removed or installed improperly
