2 vacuum fittings on greddy type r blow off?

Default 2 vacuum fittings on greddy type r blow off?

does some one know the purpose of having 2 vacumm fittings on the greddy type r blow off valve,are they both go together to one vacumm source

The 2nd (lower) vacuum line is optional. You can reroute it to the intake, which supposedly makes the BOV more efficient.
