im gona be starting my motor build soon and i was really hoping to build a ls/vtec but after many many hours of reading im thinking i might be better off just getting a b18c block to start with.

i can get a b18a1 block shipped for 150$

or i can spend 400+ shipping for a b18c block.

im gona be going the all motor route with this car, noting big. im shooting for maby 180-200 whp

someone make my mind up for me.

 

why not got with the b18c5?

 

i would go with a b18c1 or it depends on the out come there is a lot of stuff to do for ls vtec if your gonna go turbo u can do ls vtec but it would be cheaper for a gsr or if your going to go all motor you can use the b18c5

 

you think i can get a b18c5 block for under 500$ with main caps?
