Ok, im planning to buy an EG in the next few months, it will be my first car and I'm obviously new to all this stuff. Let's say I do an engine swap, a GSR or Type R motor in it...

What car should i buy aftermarket products (like I/H/E)?

I know i would have an EG, but i also have an engine from a different car, and those parts that you buy are for the engine, so I'm a little confused.

 

You will be getting parts for the engine, not the chassis. If you get a B18C1, get GSR accessories. Some people think that the fitment of the intakes is an issue in an EG chassis car, but I've done swaps where they've fit just fine in the stock locations, and even if they're an inch off, it's an aluminum tube that you can cut and redirect.

Now exhaust systems you need to buy for the chassis, not the motor, seeing as they mount to the car rather than the engine. Also, make sure you ask about clearances with headers and such so you don't end up with a +3hp header which requires removal of your A/C or the like.

 

yea if it is for the engine then buy that engine stuff if it depends on the chassis then buy for th chassis and custom fit it to the mota
