Does the Apex World Sport have a straight through muffler?

 

I don't think so...if it did how would it be so quiet? The N1 on the other hand...

 

Do you think it flows better than stock?

 

I'm sure the Apex WS and most aftermarket will flow better than our stock exhaust.

 

straight through mufflers don't have to be too noisy...
have one in my old corolla, it isn't too bad.

pretty cool when flames shoot out aswell

 

Well I found out that it doesn't have a straight through design. Now I wonder how it flows.

 

Yeah I'm debating the WS and N1 too. I don't plan on buying anytime soon...but I'm trying to keep my car rather sleeper'ish (the police don't like loud mufflers )
On the other hand an N1 in the morning as I light out of my neighborhood would e rather nice

 

Greddy exhausts aren't too loud, but are straight-through designs. Just a thought

 

World Sport is a chambered design. Not straight through. On a naturally aspirated car, it probably won't be that much different from a straight through design.

 

I had the WS on my car when it was turbo.
No problems, realy quiet. Just the way i wanted it.

I'm pretty sure it does. But how much, I'm not sure. With the WS you would slightly larger piping than the OEM ITR cat-back though, so you'll get gains there for sure.

Is it louder than stock?

 

I've heard thats its just like stock except when at WOT. Still waiting for mine because apexi has problems with customs.

 

i love mine, painted it flat black except for the tip looks stealth (tip isnt too big, no bigger than a stock altezza, cough i mean IS300 tip) and it sounds great, not too loud and no buzzy/ricer sound to it...gets throaty inside the car but outside at high rpms is hard to hear over the engine screaming

 

Junglister when you painted the muffler did you sand the muffler lightly with sand paper and then paint it with high temp falt black paint?

How long has it been painted and how is the paint holding up? Is it louder than stock?
