Cruise control never came on the ITR and was never an option either.

It's not impossible to install the entire GS-R cruise control system on an ITR, if you feel you really need it.

Most ITR owners consider it some kind of anathema, but you can look up Matt "D" and Scott Lear for instructions if you really want to do it.

There's actually a guy down here in Miami who added the complete cruise control, and a sunroof to his.

OT, btw, an interesting fact- there were ITR's which came from the factory with a sunroof. I think on the 2000 year JDM ITRX but not 100%. Anybody know?

you can see the sunroof button.....

if you look really close you can see the sunroof in this pic!

more pics of the car.....

ask turbopanda about the car. It's a REAL JDM ITR. The car belongs to his friend. Only certain JDM ITR came with a sunroof. They are RARE!

I don't believe that.

It don't believe it was an option offered by honda but rather an option offered by the dealers.

So no type r's ever came with sunroof but some had the option of aftermarket/oem ones installed.

Dennis....

The Type R"X" had the sunroof as a standard OEM part. I have seen it myself at the dealership. Please not that turbopanda's friends R is real and it is a Type RX.

Wow....Type RX. Thats pretty damn cool. The only thing i sometimes wish an R had was a sunroof . We sucked George back in .

ON topic though: my buddies 2001 definitely had cruise crontrol....BUT...it was also bought by the original owner from the acura dealership.
