Nice car and all, but $10k? Is that negotiable?

Well I honestly think that 10k is more than reasonable. I paid 9k for the car when it had 82,xxx miles on it, and it was bone stock.

What do you think it is worth bud? I take all criticism positive or negative. Let me know your thoughts.

I'm well aware of how rare VTECs are, and yours does have decent mileage for the year.

But check this out: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=818229 Another '94 VTEC turbo, but with only 43k miles, and for $11k.

In light of that, I can't justify paying $10k for a car with 100k miles on it's turbocharged engine. And I understand that it's tuned well, but still. Also, the red engine bay and mostly stock suspension aren't huge pluses.

I'm not trying to be negative; your Sol is very very nice. But I think you overpaid when you bought it, and I wouldn't do more than $8800 for it now. Then again, it's all a matter of finding the right buyer.

Good luck with your sale

That 43k mile sol has been crashed two times. I would rather pay for a turbo setup that was done right as well. The car is turbo w/ a vafc....thats not the way to do it, but it is a matter of finding the right buyer, and honda-tech probably is not the place to sell a car like mine, but I am just testing the market right now bud.

Thanks for your advice and criticism.

bump for a nice guy. my car hasnt been wrecked. only scuffed paint from a bump from another car. no damage has been done otherwise, bumper is still in perfect shape just needs a small spray to clean it up (as im sure most would do, i pulled the bumper to check not even the 5mph bumpers are damaged). i would definately say boostedsol's car is worth at a minimum of 10k. good luck bud.

Even w/out the engine bay painted, it still cost me $2400 for the paint job. Can you image how much it would have cost to rip out the engine just to have it a certain color? IMO it wasnt worth the time to rip out the bay and go through all that just to have the bay painted, but regardless it is an immaculate paint job they did. Championship white owns.

I understand that you pout a lot of money into the paint job but the reason that I say it would be worth more if the engine bay was painted because every car has a paint job you may have fixed yours but that doesn't bring up the value of the car anymore just because it is painted. every car has paint. with the engine bay not being painted it brings the value down to me. just my opinion!!!!!!!!! I like the car and I don't want to steal your thread by arguing about it so you can PM your reply if you want.

the reason I don't think it is worth 10K is because your car is worth around $5800 so for 10K you could build a car for just a Little more money.

My car is worth around 5800 or so in stock trim, but I have more than 10k invested into this car alone. Good fresh paint vs. old faded paint...which would you rather have? Paint does bring up the condition of the car, but nontheless, thanks for your criticism bud.
