took my 89 si hatch to the track today. im runnin a stock b16a1 with custom turbo kit runin 7 lbs of boost. managed to get a 13.1 @106.5 with a 2.1 60ft
. i had baby slicks on so traction was still a bit of a problem. 2.1 was my best 60ft. hoping to get some bigger slicks, some more weight reduction and hit some 12's.

Watch out for that broken wheel stud.
My buddy has a similar setup as you and he only put down 201whp on our dynapack, so if your making 230 at 6psi then we I have investigating to do. But thats a damn good time.

What are the specs of your home made turbo set-up?
On a side note, it would be cool if a bunch of us Honda-Tech members went to Carlsbad together. I've been wanting to get my car down there.

well the stud broke off after i was done racing. so i should get that fixed soon. specs on the setup is t3/t4 turbo, custom dp, drag manifold, deltagate WG, forgot exact specs of FMIC but its a nice size, e-cutout, dsm 450cc inj, vafc, 255lph walbro intank pump, greddy bov, xs MBC, chipped ecu rev limit at 9200, think thats it.
im wanting to go again soon. we should set up a date. how bout in 2 weeks?

that intercooler looks like it hangs really low. do you have any problems with that bottoming out? it looks like your bumper has met the pavement a few times in the past

Traction is always an issue at Carlsbad. What size slicks were you running? 20" or 22" ? I am usually there every Saturday in my friends Blue SI but no more running until a cage is put in. Get your 60fts down 10 1.8 or 1.9 and you will see high 12's

u made 13.1 ! 106 mph...
with a 2.1 60 foot...
i beleive the best u can do its like a 2.0 and just drop it to 13.0
but until u get into trapping 110mph u wont get really into 12's
once u trap that speed, u will now u have a 12 sec car!
work on some more top end power...

damn dude, that's a nice time. so you're saying that you are running your turbo on a completely stock B16A1?
also, you already have a 12 second car... just work on your reaction time

well i bought the car with that kit. i havent hit the pavment yet. and now i really take the extra extra step to go around big dips and crap.
it takes me about 1 hour maybe a little more. on the way home i did it in 40 min.
RT's dont affect ET's so no my car isnt a 12 sec car just yet. prob wont be soon
