i need to replace my transmission fluid and everyone says to use gm sychromesh. but i also read that pennzoil sychromesh is the exact same thing as the gm stuff but only 5 dollars a quart instead of 9-10 dollars for the gm label. does anyone know any easy ways to get a hold of the pennzoil stuff so i dont need to pay twice as much from the gm dealership.

yep, autozone was the only part store around me that had it (4 diffrent chains around me)

 

I just went to Autozone earlier today looking for this stuff, and they said that they don't carry it so I guess I have to resort to the dealer prices on Monday

 

i went to autozone too and they didnt have that **** in. theyve got automatic transmission fluid but that aiint what i need. if pep boys aiint got it ill just have to buy it from the dealership.

That's funny, tha'ts where I got mine. I've seen it at all the local auto chains.

 

Yep autozone...and its always in stock up here...it's located near the gear oil section in a big yellow bottle

 

autozone doesnt have it.

If not correct, I'll return to k-mart and get OEM stuff from Honda

Actually No. They are referring to this stuff --&gt; HERE

I'm taking that $hit I bought (2 posts above) back and getting OEM MTF. Can't go wrong with OEM

 

My local autozone has it.

 

Autozone is the only place around my area that ahd it and they only had 2 qts. On this site there's some other alternatives that are the same as the synchromesh: http://www.stealth316.com/2-pe...h.htm

 

i got my from adv. auto parts

we have 3 in town only one of them had it


so check all the stores at your local place
