s2000 or V6 accord
I am looking at getting an s2000, but my dad doesnt think it will be a comfortable/safe daily driver. He suggested the 2003 V6 accord coupe. What do you guys think ? If you could give pros and cons of both. Thanks in advance.
I think you should search on the pros/cons vs. other cars.
Those two cars are pretty two totally different cars, I do not see where you cannot find the differences in the two.

That's what my dad would suggest, don't ask your parents for opinions about what type of car to get. They'll give you more "practical" applications, but who the **** wants that?
Since your only 17 get the accord for now.

"How is the S2k as a daily driver?"
I don't know how long does it take you to swap ends and back into a light post in any other car?
I will be more clear and say that the s2000 is a drivers car
these kinds of cars end up wrecked more often than not by people who want to have a sports car and not take the time to learn how to drive it
In other words for you to ever find the good and bad points of this car over something generally more suited to daily driving like the Accord than your going to have to spend considerable time behind the wheel
in short
Accord for you
s2000 for me because I have another car to drive every day instead.

Do I have to go on?

Personal taste, I'd go with the s2k. However, my gf has a 2k4 v6 Accord coupe, and it is mighty nice. Pretty quick, but honestly you can compare performance ratings b/w the s2k and the accord. Drive safe.

the s2k should be fine for a daily driven car. its not like its a damn ferrari or something where its uncomfy or its not a 11 sec car where you can't drive it. buy the s2k over the accord and enjoy. if you like puttin heads in your car than obvously you can't go with the s2k. look at those matters and how they fit your life. everyone has their own likes and dislikes.
You all must be rich or something, talking about buying a s2k like it's nothing. So what its not the fastest car, the gd thing is pimp and its street fast enough. Slap some advans on that thing and you're set.

You already made up your mind, otherwise you wouldn't be asking in the S2000 forum, would you?
My pick: S2000 w/snow tires for winter. That is, if it snows where you live.

I politely disagree. He might be asking, because he is not sure if he's the type of person to daily drive an S2000. Some people can, some people can't. Plus many (if not half?) of the S2000 population have a 2nd car (or bike?) to use on a daily basis. But it all depends on the thread starter.
Eddie.

just wondering you know how to drive the car man cause im 17 too guy and i won't hate to see another crashed s2k in the junkyard man i think the s2k would be better after you get the hang of driving man its not a arcade guy so i think that the accord would be good cause im getting a civic hatch and later on after i get the hang of the car im throwing in a type-r engin in to it so .........
