My dad went outside at 7:30AM today and my cars door was wide open. I went outside and there was nothing missing at all or anything out of place. I did notice only one thing.. there were finger prints all over my driver side window and scrape marks going down it.

I'm planning on getting a Clifford G5 alarm now and I have one question when I was looking over my window it seems like now the rubber that the window goes under to seal gets stuck and the window pushes it up. Does anyone know how I can maybe fix it so that it does under the rubber again normally? Thanks.

 

i just put my window down and got a flat head and pushed everything over, daym theives!

 

hell yeah, i have this problem too! but my window got shattered and the jacked my new cd player and broke my climate control units bezel!

I haven't done it yet because my car is in the paint shop because it got keyed, but I was/am going to try just rolling down the window slightly like 1 or 2 cm, putting tape on each side where the strip thats bent in starts, get flat head screw driver and just slowly edge it all out the way it should be, roll the window back up, put my car outside with that door facing the sun to help it heat up, then take it in the garage and take a blow dryer to the area for a little bit(not melt it!!). just heat it up so hot that hopefully when it cools it goes back to normal.... leave it like that without rolling the window down for like a day and then try it... ? dunno i thought it was a good idea.

 

thats how they broke in my whip and stole my ****, all i did was roll down the window and it went back in place?

definitly get an alarm, and put the lil sticker on your window, its more the fact that you have an alarm that deters the theif rather then the alarm going off, the sticker helps. imo.

 

Yeah I pulled it out from under the window I just hope that being under the sun will fix it..
