burning oil

i have a 92 vx with a b16a in it. When ever go over 6000 rpm's i smell oil.
do i have bad valve seals or piston rings??

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you notice if you're shooting blueish smoke from your exhaust when accelerating/WOT? Do a compression and leakdown test..
