to keep it nice and simple...just do an h22 swap...dont mess with b series....they make enough TQ to pull a lil civic around but not a fat accord.

if you are gonna do a swap, do the h22a plain and simple. yes you can swap a h22 head on a f22 but it'll still be a lot weaker motor than the h22.

who cares if everyone has one? they all have one FOR A REASON! its the most powerful engine you can swap into your accord with ease, so why not do it? any b series engine wont have enough torque to do jack...and the only h series engine you will want to swap to feel a good amount of difference is an h22a unless you wanna swap an h23a and turbo the hell out of it. so why not just hop on the bandwagon and go with an h22a. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. but if you want to be different... go for it, its your money and your car. if you wanna spend 700 bucks for about 30 horsepower instead of going the extra mile and spilling in about 350 more bucks, and just getting an h22a and 75 more horsepower, then hey, ur call.

there are other options, but as far as a swap goes the h22a is the best. You can alway build the f22 you have now. the bisi crx has a fully built andcarb'd f22 in it making roughly 320 whp all motor.

as for swapping the h22 into your car i think its pretty much a striagh swap of engines minus some extra wiring and of course an ecu. the mounts and the axles will remain the same im pretty sure. your stock tranny should even bolt up altho i wouldnt recommend it. there are pleanty of places to buy motors online. I bought a b20 for my old integra from jdmhondaparts.com and was very pleased. I know a lot of people go through hmo too and ive heard lots of good things about them.
