Default unhappy with my new motor...... :(

i just recently put in my b20z into my 95 integra Ls, the Ls motor was always being good to me, until i swap in the b20. Today i just race my friend 96 4 door Ls with only intake and exhaust, i lost about a car, all three round, i was really disapointed, i know forsure its not the driver, i use to always beat him 2-3 cars with my old motor with just basic bolts on. This motor has only about 20k on it, there is no check engine light or whatsoever, i am just not happy with my new motor, what could be the problem, i am so confused I have a GSR TRANNY, skunk2 manifold, a drop in k&n filter, UR crank pully, AEM fpr, and a ACT 6 puck disc for now, im boosting soon, and i also have Falken Azenis tires on 16" slip, and my friend was rolling on some heavy *** 17's as well, can this be a motor problem and the only reson why i swap to the b20 because my old motor has reach 200,000 miles. Oh and i forgot my car lag under 2000rpm, it feels like its bogging and the high end feels weak as well compare to my old Ls, but the motor runs fine and i also did a tune up as well. Any thoughts??

Sounds like you could use a bit of tuning. Spend some money on fuel management, it's not something to go cheap on if you're going to boost it down the road

sounds like a tuning issue too. When I first dropped my motor in...it ran like ****. Once tuned....a whole new ball game.

I would definately get it tuned. If you are using the stock ECU with the B20, you'll need more fuel. Who knows where it's at with blindly setting the FPR.

I'd always recommend getting it tuned after a swap. It can make a world of a difference..
