Default Shortest B-series rod length

I've done a search and seen that the shortest rod length is the b17a. I was just wanting to know if I've missed any information on that. So I guess what I'm trying to ask is if the b17a rods are the shortest available. tia

Yep. The B17A1 uses a PR3 block (same as the B16A) and a longer stroke. If the same rods were used then there would be clearance issues so a shorter rod is necessary.

Thanks, I guess now the question is if there are any aftermarket rods that happen to be shorter than that?

Curious as to why you want shorter rods?

Asking for a friend. Thinks that he's gonna have some super high revving beast and will be safe witht the shortest rods possible. I dunno.....
