HELP! broke my obd2->obd1 harness
I was crimping wires and what not on the harness putting in the fields vtec controller, then i noticed that one of the wires were loose and now its like this


Is there anyway i can repair this? cause i dont want to buy another one.

did the pin come out or did it brake off ? if it broke off , use a little "pic" to push out the broken pin . then if you have access to other pins jus cut and solder on a new one . hope that helped .

I feel your pain man. Look up username kenji and send him a e-mail (id send a e-mail rather than a IM , not to sure he still posts here ). He will be able to hook you up with some pins.
I should be able to come up with some pins for you.
Now do you guys see why it is important to put epoxy over the connections? It prevents this from happening (pins breaking from fatigue of the metal).
I have fixed quite a few of the Skunk2 and other harnesses out there over the years.
I put epoxy on all of my harnesses that I make. Do any of the ~$75 harness guys do this?
You get what you pay for...
