Default YO, NEED HELP WITH TURBO B16, CUSTOM T3 KIT----WHITE SMOKE

i installed a t3 on my b16a. my fuel management is vafc, 450 dsm injectors, mustang fuel pump and 10:1 FMU. after i installed it i was running with no downpipe. ran good, fast as **** but when i let off i get madd white smoke. then a while later the car ran like ****, it seems to have trouble making boost when i floor it at most rpm it will majorly hesitate and sometimes the turbo won't boost until 4 or 5 grand, it cuts out and pops and ****. do i need a new turbo? should i get my junkyard t3 rebuilt? wtf!!!!

450's Vafc, AND and fmu??

White smoke is a blown headgasket, or cracked head/block.

Blue smoke is Oil burning.

Black is Fuel...

IF you're blowing white smoke you either blew a headgasket, cracked a sleeve, or the head.. prolly in that order

If its blue, you tore up your ringlands, or have a smokin turbo

i'll check compression tommorow. it seems to run better without fmu, maybe i got too much fuel, im running rich. also when turbo was first installed we noticed that oil was coming out of the exhaust side of the turbo, i filled up with almost 1 more liter. also i noticed that under the turbo on it there is what looks like a burnt oil coolant stain

what should my compression be across the 4 cyls, and when oil was leaking out the exhaust side of the turbo it made a puddle, but i think that was becasue i put too much oil

yor turbo is gay. you got a bad one. go get another one. make sure theres no oil in that thing when you get it out of the junk, and make sure theres no cracks in the exhaust housing.
