Hi, i was just sitting at my computer and pondering the point of life when a thought came into my head.. can you change your faceplate on your cd player to anything if it is detachable? It would make sense that you can.. but i cant find a place that sells these items

I dont think that it would work..I think each faceplate it encryted or something so that you cant

 

not to mention, the point of connection is never in the same place.

 

uhhh I don't know where this ridiculous logic comes from, but if you think about it, it makes sense that they would NOT work together. Hardware works on instructions and rules, which are hard coded. You can not throw any old face plate which communicates with a deck one way onto another deck which will in all likely hood work another. Different features = different functions, and different manucfacterers almost definitely means different coding style completely.

 

if they were interchageable like that, itll save us a whole lot of $ but nope, never will happen...
